I Did It: Make Water from Air

heather-for-isf

Five years ago when I started working for EcoloBlue, I had no concept of what an atmospheric water generator (AWG) was. Make water from air? What does that mean?

Since that time, I have been able to learn the technology itself, and more about EcoloBlue’s products and solutions. I’ve been striving to educate others from the highest level corporations and media, to our local Chamber of Commerce and elementary school. It’s a very forward-thinking and crucial solution for the planet today.

Water contamination is running rampant globally, and every day you hear chatter about what people think should be done about the problem. Well, the problem is too much chatter and not enough action. There are solutions at your fingertips.

EcoloBlue manufactures AWGs that can produce water on a small scale for your home or office, on a very large scale for entire communities, and everything in between. By condensing the moisture in the air, the water is collected and processed through an impressive filtration process. This leaves you with 99.9% pure water, for whatever your needs may be.

In the last few months, I have been working on shipping and coordinating a large donation of machines to the residents of Flint, Michigan, on behalf of EcoloBlue. I am proud to be part of a company that started under the premise of trying to solve the world’s global water problems, as well as reduce plastic bottle waste in the process. Then, to see the company come full circle, and to act on these initial philanthropic principals, makes me even prouder.
